As some of you may know, I recently completed work on a book about my greatest entrepreneurial adventure:  building Ameritrade.

The Harder You Work, The Luckier You Get will be published by Simon & Schuster and hits shelves November 5.  I am going to be writing more about the book in the coming weeks, but for now I wanted to say how excited I am that that The Museum of American Finance and Fordham University’s Gabelli School of Business will be hosting a conversation and Q&A about the book on November 6 at 6pm.

It should be a fun night with Dr. Richard Sylla, chairman of the Museum of American Finance, moderating a conversation with me and giving me a chance to share some of the company’s dramatic, near-death experiences and fun stories of how we pulled together to grow beyond our wildest dreams.
